Za in Elm Grove is a gem! Stopped in for my daughter's bday dinner, and everything we ordered was fantastic. We kicked off with the garlic bread--warm, crispy, and packed with flavor. The zucchini fries were another highlight: perfectly fried and not too greasy, with a satisfying crunch.

For our main dishes, we had the pizza, spaghetti and meatballs, and chicken alfredo. The pizza was just right with a crisp crust and plenty of fresh toppings. The spaghetti and meatballs were classic, hearty, and full of flavor--the sauce was rich, and the meatballs were tender and juicy. The chicken alfredo was creamy and comforting, with a generous portion of chicken that paired perfectly with the pasta.

We also received a complimentary piece of bday tiramisu for my daughter which was unexpected and delicious.

The service was friendly and quick, and the ambiance was warm and welcoming. LOVED the live singers! Whether you're craving pasta, pizza, or just a good Italian meal, Za is a fantastic choice! We'll definitely be back.

This place is a pleasant new experience for Elm Grove. The food and atmosphere is a nice new turn. Drinks are new and creative along with being very tasty. Appetizers are delicious and the pizza is wonderfully creative in flavor. Overall Za is a good experience ?. Prices are fairly expensive but a good fit for the area.

What an Elm Grove Gem! We visited Za on a busy Wednesday night. Tables fully booked we took our chances and were greeted by the nicest front of house staff; and happily got bar seating right away—Taylor, our Bartender was awesome; knowledgeable and attentive, great customer service. The food was excellent and packed with flavor from the pizzas to the Chicken Caesar Salad. House wine was delicious as well. Loved the atmosphere and open concept with their glass overhead door/windows that really open the restaurant up to the outdoors. Highly recommend!

I love this place. The atmosphere is warm and charming in the winter with the wood fire pizza ovens burning and the mirrors and crystal lights make everything glow. I love the chicken piccata and the beet salad . The espresso martini is also a favorite. Gluten free noodles / pizzas make it easy for my whole family to enjoy. I also love the female singers they have had there lately. Not too loud and beautiful voices !

In a village of nuances and wholesome spaces, Za sings endearingly to the heart of the Elm Grove community, encouraging friendships to grow closer, the celebration of special occasions, and the simplicity of life to be enjoyed after a focused work week.

Jive (or glide effortlessly) on in to Za for a brilliant and enlivening meal with upbeat and refreshing service from two sisters, careful servers, and efficient cooks who are very attentive to interested in fulfilling the order you will place - either over the phone or in person!

I love the experience of this pizza for its bright, sweet freshness, with sauce so light with notes of fruitiness that I would like to bring all of my foodies and restaurant owner friends here for inspiration.

Specifying hot honey sauce in my to go order, a feeling of youthful bliss leaves me head over heels for Za’s margarita pizza.

This being my second time in for pick up, I am attracted to the bold contemporary interior design with homey appeal, feeling almost akin to the spacious vibe of Southern California with strong character and open concept (felt also through garage - style patio doors).

My friends and I feel so welcome here and I really hope that all pizza lovers will receive this personal and super helpful, friendly spirit when they visit.

Unable to accommodate party of 15. Service was sketchy. Some of our tables received food before others. The incorrect item was brought to the table, removed, and replaced within seconds. Free deserts were offered. Not very good with dietary restrictions.

Visited Za Restaurant in Elm Grove, Wisconsin. Service was excellent, and the pizza was good but lacked a “wow” factor. However, the water and sodas tasted unpleasant due to a known local well water issue. The only alternative was bottled water, costing $4 or $8, with no ice since it’s also made with well water. Additionally, there were fruit flies present while dining.

We're nearby local residents. We'd like nothing more than to see our eateries succeed. However, we need some basics for the money being spent. Consistently good attentive service along with good tasting quality food. Hopefully, Za's can keep up with these basics. We're hopeful. The pizza's are good though. Some of the pasta dishes are ok. The short rib meat in the pappardelle is way too fatty for our liking. This needs improvement. Cute staff's fun but sometimes they fall short besides just showing up to work.
