Nach meiner Bestellung eines Reining-Sattels der Marke Pullmann, den ich mir für meinen Komfort, aber vor allem für das Wohlbefinden meiner Stute und zur langfristigen Vermeidung von morphologischen Problemen maßanfertigen ließ, möchte ich diesem Hersteller für seine Professionalität danken. Ich konnte das Modell des Sattels und alle Optionen, die angeboten werden, auswählen, die Wahl der Farben, der Friesen, des Sitzes usw., ein einfach einzigartiger Sattel! Die Herstellungsfrist betrug 4 Monate, eine angemessene Frist im Gegensatz zu anderen Sattlern. Selbstverständlich habe ich mich von einem Fachmann beraten lassen, insbesondere von William Haar Performance, der seit 1996 Horsmanship betreibt und viel Erfahrung mit dem Wohlbefinden von Pferden und dem Westernreiten hat. Eine Adresse, die ich ohne zu zögern weiterempfehlen kann.

Following my order for a Pullmann reining saddle, which I had custom-made for my own comfort but above all for my mare's well-being and to avoid any long-term morphological problems, I'd like to thank this manufacturer for their professionalism. I was able to choose the model of saddle and all the options that are proposed, the choice of colors, friezes, seat, etc., a saddle that is just unique! The production time was 4 months, a reasonable time compared to other saddlers. Of course, I was advised by a professional, in particular William Haar Performance, horsmanship since 1996 and highly experienced in horse welfare and western riding. An address I can recommend without hesitation.

On 17/05/2024, I have ordered and paid 50% of a Pullman saddle via an intermediary, William Haar Performance (WHP) based in Val-de-Moder, France.

This saddle - that I still haven’t received as of the date of this comment - was to be manufactured (or perhaps imported) by Hi Tack Saddles GmbH.

On the order form, WHP had charged me 70 euros of delivery fees but now refuses to have the saddle shipped to my home address (which is yet >500 km from WHP’s business place) and ordered that I had to pick it up at WHP’s business address. The alternative was that I waited that the saddle be delivered at WHF business office, and then pay additional shipping costs again and have it re-shipped at my home at my expense again and under my responsibility.

I have therefore tried a mitigating approach and contacted Hi Tack Saddles directly using the contact detail mentioned on their website and sent them an email on 29/07/2024. I chased them again on 06/08/2024. In this email, I made very clear that the shipping of the saddle would of course only be made subject to the payment in full of the saddle. I have also tried to call them without having anyone returning my calls and the voice message that I have left.

Most surprisingly, I received instead a text message from William Haar Performance stating:

« We have been informed of your contacts with our manufacturer (...) we ask you to stop bothering him and send him 36,000 messages. If you want things to go well, stop taking us for fools and stop intervening and interfering in our business and our suppliers. »

To conclude, I am leaving this comment to inform other potential buyers that I start wondering how Hi Tack Saddles, while advertising a « 30 year warranty offer » on the western saddles they manufacture, intent to honer that commitment when they ignore both their buyers calls and emails' concerns. As such, I would recommend future buyers to be most cautious when considering resorting to Hi Tack Saddle GmbH and rather select another provider/manufacturer if they can.
